SB1161 holds fossil fuel companies accountable for climate deceit 

For decades, fossil fuel companies deceived the American public about climate change so they could continue to rake in the profits. Now we are all suffering the effects.

SB 1161, the Climate Science Truth and Accountability Act, enables civil suits against companies that deny climate risk and misrepresent the facts of climate change to shareholders and the public.

Passage of this bill is essential. It could be voted on in the state Senate as early as Thursday.
